Istria travel connections

Istria has a very good travel connection with the rest of Croatia and Europe. First station for airplanes or charter flights is an international airport Pula located 5 km from the centre of the town of Pula. Near Pula there is also a sport airport in Vrsar and close by there are also international airports in Rijeka and in Trieste, Italy. You can also travel to Istria with trains from Zagreb and Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The best way to travel to Istria is still with a car because of Istrian traffic connections with European destinations.  For all of you that decide to come with your own boats or yachts there are Istrian Yacht Clubs that have very nice staffs and many offers for your great holiday in Istria.
