Travel connections of Gorski Kotar and Lika

Gorski Kotar and Lika with their centers are very well connected with the rest of the Croatia. Delnice and Gospić are not really well connected with air traffic but it's easy to get there by car, bus or train. If you start your journey from any of the capital cities in Croatia your trip to Gorski Kotar and Lika will last less than three hours. You can see some of the coast on your way to Gorski Kotar an Lika too. If you decide to go by train there are 2 main railway stations: Railway Station Delnice which is located in Gorski kotar and Railway Station Gospić that is located in Lika. Train is good option for your trip but if you want to visit some small rural areas of mountain region you will have to reconsider, because there are no stop places in those areas. Traveling by airplane is little complicated because nearest airports are in Zadar, Krk and Zagreb, so it's way cheaper to go by other vehicles. Travelling by bus is very acceptable option since there are many carriers that travel on this route and you can go with buses to any interesting tourist attractions. Travelling by car is the most quickest and cheapest option for travelling to Gorski Kotar and Lika.
