See our offerNorthern Dalmatia is abundant with natural attractions, ranging from the fact that right here is almost half of all Croatian islands, and to the fact that on a relatively small area there are located three national parks and three nature parks.
The larger islands are: Pag, Ugljan, Silba, Vir, Murter, Pasman, Krapanj, Iz, Zlarin, Molat, and island group National Park Kornati and Park Nature Park on Dugi otok. Island Zlarin is remarkable for its coral and island Krapanj for the sea sponge.
National parks in northern Dalmatia are: Kornati archipelago, waterfalls and cascades of river Krka and Paklenica karst river canyon, located in the southern part of the Velebit mountain range. Three nature parks are: Telascica, unique natural resources on Dugi otok, Lake Vrana, the largest natural lake in Croatia, also known as an ornithological area and Velebit area, located on the same mountain.
