Kvarner region has the longest tourist tradition in Croatia. Lika is an area of dense forest, crystal clear water, traditional architecture and ecological kitchen. Hidden from the sea is the largest Croatian mountain of Velebit. There are two national parks in this area: Plitvice Lakes with 16 lakes, listed in UNESCO's World Heritage List, and North Velebit, with a reserve of protected biological species. Valley of the river Gacka with its beauty is breathtaking.

Kvarner is due to its ideal position close to Slovenia and Italy most accessible by road, cars and buses. The nearest international airport is Kvarner's airport, located on the island of Krk.
Kvarner destinations are not connected by air or rail, so the best way to move through the region's own cars and ferries.
